Here people who think their good at a certain race can post their strategy and things they find important. For example I could explain how I can be so sucky at the nazgul and perhaps narsil could give some advice to gondor people of small things they might improve etc. If you think your good at a race and have some important things to note which you see people do wrong often post in this thread

I'll start by posting some advice on the naz Firstly get all naz on hotkey 1 the wavers on hotkey 2 and the nightmare naz on hotkey 3 this way you can quickly wave and nightmare with your naz using d and g (darkness wave and nightmare hotkeys) and tab and you can heal with murazor as he is always in the first spot on tab 1. More important things to note are that you need to make sure you are at big battles let your teammates inform you in advance if they are going to attack and use your troops. As just naz vs a good fellowship winning is hard yet if you have a company of orcs with you you will totally slaughter them especially if you set good ambushes using your nazgul + orcs. If your playing in an important game always try and get the mouth of sauron from mordor as a 5th waver and a brilliance aura are very usefull. Also be sure to not just give all your wood away extending the towerwall at minas morgul or things like that can be very usefull it prevents normal troops from easily rushing down morgul and the more towers are in a wall the harder flaming them is as they do more damage faster.
And never forget to improvise and make sure you get good intel get saru to get up wards and place a few orcs at key points so your warned when the fs or elfs are coming and where they are allowing you to get out on time know where to attack and attack them when your ready. this is just a little advice if you want more contact me in pms or ingame and other people post your helpfull strategies for whatever race (o and be sure to summon orcs they help especially at the start)

Hm, ok i take vie by the word and tell u what i think how to play gondor Well first gondor is the nation u need to be fastest at start, as otherwise u lose some troops and feed naz start..so start by using hotkey "c" to buid castle be4 lagg starts, then get ur hero team rdy, means all heroes+semi heroes which are really good (auras+a guy that stuns 25%)...then get ur troops back FAST first easte ones, then south, get pple into towers 2 not 4get that!....hm well then u need 3k wood by an ally, more isnt needed...remembers not to build ur towers in south where the other 2 are as naz will kill ur worker eaily...if he does it even if u put em back, make new ones fast, u need at least 2new towers to defend the rush! if a good naz is rushing, DONT send all troops on same time or ull have none after 1st waves, use riders 1st and micro heroes, heal+imra wave, fara and beregond shud have heal to keep rest alive, then at lvl2 put heal on denethor and wave on beregond...also put will of men on faramir as one of ur semi heroes has the same aura u cud take, so u dun need any other aura! well then u shud get ur heroes high lvl fast as they attak u with many troops and ur often alone.... well if u survive rush well, u shud be rdy soon to attak harad..u know all good naz go to dale to get more food after he went to gondor, thats ur moment, attak harad, use defense skill iwht ur troops (the good melee from minas and the crap troops of lossar have it) so harad towers are useless, send ur riders only once footies fight to get em alive, they are vulerable to towers! rider mass attak, rest focus towers+use flame and ur waves alot....watch naz though if ur alone or only helped by shire, if they come dont apnic but let units run and try to surround some if they arent carefull and run to deep in ur troops...there u shud get high lvl fast and if naz gets busy defending north vs all ur other allies, u can be sure something will fall as naz cant be north in guldur AND in harad at same time, if u go on harads spawns, first is far harad, then near then umbar so u can escape and can save ur ass if they try to trap! also get one units troops back to help u getting bach home! then harad or njorth falls anb u might be high lvl then ...remember to put all ur balistas back to minas so u can get morgul easy later, first focus em on the big tower then on the spawn (only if naz are 2heavy, dun use it 2lame!)....hm thats all i think, though im sure gondor heroes are best troops supporter as u have 2times ressurec and low cooldown mass healing+2waves and flamestrike! last thing is 2get more towers and 2 defend ur spawn, repair it if needed, they r all usefull, dun drop em 2fast....
this might help u, at least i hope so and gl all! contact me ingame or by forum if wanna ask me something....

I agree in all that Vie said, but if u have a mouse with 5 buttons (etc. 2 at extra at the side) make them so they switch between units in ur groups. Then u can easily and fast wave all by clicking at mouse to get next nazzie, and just use g and d to wave/nightmare the enemy. Dunno if vie forgot to add this, or didn't knew, but it's a really nice way to switch fast between ur nazzies. If there's a hotkey to switch in groups plz tell, couse i don't know any ;D

there is as I said (just use d and g and tab) tab is the hotkey to switch between units in a group so you don't need a 5 buttoned mouse for that also in comment to narsils posts I think it tells some basic strategy about gondor but you could also inform them of things like the hero group you make (the heroes + demi heroes + royal gaurds that is important) things like that things that most likely alot of people won't know but which is dang effective

In start u should rechive 3000 wood (typical from naz) and build towers outside the wall. DO NOT let rohan get a worker in helms, couse then he will build a archer tower at the top front, and that will ruin alot!! But try build ur towers so the 2 most outsides can fire at helms deeps gate. Pick flame with saru at start, and burn some towers and/or try lure enemy troops out to ur towers. Keep Ugluk and Grima behind so saru get most exp... but keep grima a bit closer at the front than ugluk, so he can put enemy advancing heroes to sleep. Allso remember to plant wards over all to west and east for isen, couse it will give u a view over ur district. If u make no worker enter helms deep, u can easily destroy it!, when u have destroyed the gate and have about 24 uruks + some dunlendings! Couse uruks defend ability works excelent against towers, and if saruman has done some dmg, u allmost don't loose any...! If rohan try assist helms with riders, ur towers at the pass should get 'em. But it's not so often this happens, couse fs or elfs can come, or rohan can destroy towers before builded and so on.... but just try make this come true, and watch out for advancing workers!!! As soon saru is about lvl 6, begin use grima and ugluk. It's a perfect small hero team, couse u have a big army, saruman destroys all buildings and units, grima put some to sleep and poisen 'em (lvll 3 60 dmg pr sec ) so ur army can come... And Ugluk has wave and aura... not much more, but he's in front of Saruman and Grima and he's the hero u would lose most out of those 3 (throug bladestorm is very effective against troops!) At last remember, if saruman is alive lvl 4-6 and u just have some towers, Isen will not fall!!! ;D

didnt i tell me hero group? well at gondor u shud get all ur heroes(4) in same group with the 4semi heroes that are in lossar, and get the royal guards from minas 2, make new ones with beregond, but not use this in/just be4 a fight, beregond is really usefull to heal and wave, so he needs some mana...still he gets it back fast thx to denethor aura....well then ur semi are kind of deadly, u can even kill some heroes with it, as one stuns sometimes, and as they have some dmg and some are ranged, they may get some fleeing heroes, just use ur 2waves also to finish some low hp guys! hm..well...anything else? dunno....oh yes u shud attak only harad with gondor, harad cant stop u alone, and if elves, dwarfs, fs attak in north only mass evil AND naz can stop em, rohan keeps saru busy....so they cant save all, and even if u dont kill harad, the xp is always worth an attak! of course, 1st thing of good micro is same as weith naz using tab to heal fast and wave fast....

Well devil personally I would advice against making towers outside of isengard, they may be nice to keep the gap but if towers kill units you don't get xp, and if you make towers outside those kill any units that you might lure otuside thus severly hampering sarumans leveling speed,I'd also advice you to make towers inside of isen but not ask wood from the naz as fortifying minas is a great way to make it so that only mass balistas which take long to get and can be easily destroyed can kill minas

I don't think u need the two extra towers in start to defend minas, couse good normally is bussy enough with defending gondor... and u only make 2-3 towers in the gap, then some in ur own gate and behind the wall. And anyway the towers close to ur own gate and behind wall will still fire against troops passing... And the 3 towers in the gap will do a great job against "incoming" workers.... It use to work for me, and saruman get lvl, couse when u finally attack hd or the west, u get good exp.... But well that's my look....

Well I like the fact that you can lure troops out of hd or kill them in hd with saru without your towers killing them thus allowing for fast xp, ofcourse everyone is free to his own way of playing isengard and this way people will see multiple options

My last reason for doing this srategy is, that u keep the gap, and it's safe to go burn in hd ;D ppl are free to use what they'll find best, and i allso like discussing the strategies, couse it gives other víews than ur own and so on....!

Well first of all I agree to boths vies and burnings view on the Isengard tactic.
Vies option gives more xp in start but on the other hand if Rohan uses erkenbrand well and stuns saruman he cna die very easy unless you make towers outside the wall to defend him properly.
Burnings option gives a bit less xp in start but still 1-2 towers doesn't kill alot of units if you keep your uruks right beside the towers.
Normally I put my 12 starting uruks right by the gate so they can quickly defend the towers that you might build. also 1-2 towers can't do alot against an army of rohan riders but they scare of most players so they don't dare to attack. In other words, I only use the towers to scare of attackers so saruman can flame helms deep all he wants to.
1 of the most important things for isengard is to keep saruman and grima alive. if they die they give an army level to rohan and thus making them alot stronger. Saruman is a key character since his death also gives army level to fellowship.
Another important thing about isengard is, like burning pointed out, to get the rohan worker in start! normally Rohan makes castles in Edoras which is the best defended place and that means that all workers made must run over the plains of rohan and into the gap. therefore I make my towers in a diagonal going from the gate of isengard and out to the right to best cover the gap from workers running from Edoras to Helms deep
Enough about Isengard for now...
Narsil I actually took the tiem of reading your strategy on Gondor. I agree to you on almost all but I can't see you desribe where to make towers. maybe I just missed that part somewhere but here's what I do.
first you should get 3000 wood (most times from shire or fellowship) you should then make 2-3 normal guard towers right south of the Minas Tirith spawn in a line towards the Fountain of Henneth Annun.
The main idea of this tactic is to keep the nazguls and/or harad away from minas tirith and fountain, but it also works very well to defend against nazguls trying to spawnkill your minas tirith units. Since all units/heroes coming to close will recieve fire from the 2-3 newly made towers + the archer tower right outside minas tirith.
If you use this tactic however most harad players will try to attack Lossarnach and with only 3 starting towers there it will fall quite fast. The best way to defend it in my opinion is simply to make 1-2 archer towers there after your first castle lvl (then minas tirith spawns archers you can use to fill up the towers) and also cover it with normal guard towers.
If you're lucky and use this tactic you can hold of Harad from destroying any of your spawns even if mordor and nazguls help (of course it depends on the players). still the tactic is very efficient since you force harad to loose alot of units in the start while your own units can sit back and relax. after a few spawns nazgul will most likely have gone for dale and harad will be almost defenseless.
