Im planning on making a new map set about 1000-1500 years after rotk. The story
the recently crowned king of gondor [insetnamehere] is not off to a very good start.after a long time of peace and prosperity things are going bad there have been 3 plauges and 2 great fires plus the hadrim seem to bee getting restless the people are bickering among themselves. all these problems seem to be linked. basicley melkor has got out the void because saru sauron and himself were banshed in the void together but they combined there powers to escape the timeless prison. there are now in the far south east in a small island rallying their forces. im not sure if this woll be a rm type game or somethink else.im looking for people to help me make it plus ideas

Gez, make a new section with all these ideas for a new map.
And saruman is kinda nothing compared to sauron and melkor, so why should he hang out with the big guys?
And instead of dragging those fat guys in you could for example make dark elves appear and so on, and maybe orcs repopulating in the deep mountains.. those kinda things.

saru actualy could be as powerfull as sauron but not melkor because when he went to middle earth he wasnt allowed to use his full powers and now that he dosnt have the form he was given he can be more powerfull though i might not put sauron melkor and saru in.well thx for the idea

sounds nice... but if u make it more years in the future u could change the area and the lands and stuff!!! give whole Middle-Earth a new style! or a map outside Middle-Earth would be great aswell!!!

i read somewhere that if saruman had made his way up to mordor and read into saurons knowledge of the rings he would of found the missing piece to his knowledge about rings and would of become as powerful as sauron if not better
this is from the beginning of lord of the rings, when tolkien explains why he didnt let aragorn or gondor have the ring

saruman was one of the istari, and all istari have a special color, but remember when gandalf gets enprisonned, he sees that saruman isnt white anymore, but his cloth blinks in many colors, so I think that saruman actually lost his rank in the order of istari, and all the power that was linked to it, getting new power of course but different. but this cant be compared to sauron or even melkor. and only one that we are sure was put to the void was melkor, we dont have precise information of if sauron goes there 2....and even if he does, they would never escape from there!

i'm sure i read that sauron becomes a misarble wraith unable to ever again take form or commit any evil but in the dark place he dwells will be shrouded in shadow....something like that

Is it just me or is Saruman dead? Didn't Grima kill him in the end of RotK? And no narsil they don't all have a different colour, remember there were two blue istari's Saruman was also a maia so I wouldn't say it was impossible to become as strong as Sauron was, though he wasn't among the strongest like Sauron was..

This Idea is so conflicting that I really would suggest against it. There are storylines you could do but this one is just ugh

well if ur gonna use this idea, go with what forsaken was saying except for leaving out saruman if u want....saruman had just as much potential as sauron in my opinion, they were both mair, im sure if saruman was trained by melkor he woulda been just as strong if not better, i also heard he wasnt allowed to show full str when sent to middle earth so i think his spirit escaping from timeless void n retaking form would be more powerful than ever........no real text or evidence to back either side up though so its really a matter of opinion, so do what u want but i dont suggest doing this map but who knows it could work
