Dont just think about the story - it is a movie, and it requires more action and more thrill... The scenes entertain the watcher and that's all they should do. The movie is not just for hardcore lotr fans - most ppl who saw the movies did not read the books and from this point of view, it's fine. It does not really hurt the storyline, so for me it's ok. Wel the whole storyline is screwed up.. All characteres are so dumb... They could have made the movie just as good without cutting peaces and adding stupid stuff... nuff said

I know why they added so many scenes with Arwen compared to the book. It's cause they decided that Arwen should be a chief character but in the book they hardly ever mentioned her so they had to add a lot of scenes..

Because they wanted a happy ending story with Aragorn marrying Arwen, and for that she had to be a chief character But the fight between the Wargs is useless Faramir taking the ring to Osgiliath is useless Sauron as a big eye SUCKS!

sauron wasnt a big eye they jus had to somehow convey the eye of sauron into a film the eye is EXACTLY how tolkien described the eye in the book when frodo has the ring on the top of amen hen and he is looking around middle earth, frodo then looks in the direction of mordor and he "senses" the eye. and arwen is FINE they should of jus made the films into 3 pornos with arwen in all of them maybe galadriel could get some action and also inm the first "porno" film balrog could rape arwen in her tight pussy and in the 3rd eowyn stabs witch king and then gets him to lick her out before he dies like my story? all write to liv tyler and P.JACKSON and let me make the hobbit

Fellowship no doubt easy choice there , It was so amazing to see the book turn into the movie with all the characters and such Durin was awesome So was the fight with the Nazgul plus the fellowship together , It was just great by far the best Infact fellowship in a readers poll got voted no.1 Over the others Again TT last. Rotk was i think the worst the poor ending I just felt it was really boring when i actually watched it nothing was really new It wasn't as innovative as FoTR the special effects had the same as before and the only really good bit was the battle between shelob and frodo which SHOULD have been in the TT , and the battle of gondor , the journey to mount doom was dissapointing it lasted lik 5mins? when it took up countless pages in the book like 5 times more than the battle of gondor did , yet it was just like a picnic stroll to mount doom.
FOTR the best by far =]

Thats the same feeling I had, it just looked like it was 3 km from Cirith Ungol to Mount Doom and from Minas Tirith the the Black Gate, and after that there was a huge boring anticlimax in the heavens, when I saw it for the first time it was great, but after that it just becomes boring...

Now you see, i loved how they did the character interraction between sam and frodo, and how much frodo depended on sam right at the end, and the last few minutes before frodo ring dropped i thought was good. And any scene with the eagles were good ;D

Well I changed my mind and the best film IMO is FotR . Well he made Arwen so big because she and Aragorn were going to marry in part 3, and for that she had to be a main-character.. I don't really miss Tom or the barrow wraiths, but what I miss is the intelligence of people, like Faramir, Dentethor and even Sauron, when he discovered the Ring a few miles from the borders of his realm, with a huge army in Minas Morgul
